Fun, Costumes and Continued Improvement Make for a Great October Tournament Weekend

Twenty-eight of our Eclipse teams headed out to participate in tournaments during the weekend of October 26-27. Many of our teams played in the San Ramon Boo Cup, but we also had teams playing in the Bay Area Fall Cup in Mountain View/Los Altos. The October tournaments, typically referred to as the “Halloween tournaments,” are an annual highlight for our players and families, as the players pick a costume for their team to wear in lieu of their normal jerseys. As you’ll see in the pictures below, we had a wide range of costumes, including Hawaiian shirts, prisoners, the US Women’s National Team, candy corn, emojis, and many more. The fun being had was evident in the countless smiles from our players all weekend. It was also one of the most successful weekends in club history, as all of our teams showed their continued improvement, high work ethic, and passion for the game. Twenty of our 28 teams participating in October tournaments landed in the playoff rounds and/or with high finishes. Congrats to all of our players on a great weekend!
