Caroline is in her second year as a head coach for Eclipse. During her season coaching the U11 Lunar Girls, Caroline has helped the girls develop strong technical skills and an understanding of how important playing as a team is. As an Eclipse player herself, Caroline has served as a positive role model for the younger players and given them the opportunity to grow in a positive environment. As Caroline finishes up her senior season with Eclipse, she leaves as one of the most involved players we have ever had. During her five seasons with Eclipse, Caroline has participated in the coaching staff as a Coach in Training, an assistant coach and a head coach. She participated in the Eclipse Leadership Academy multiple times and was the first player invited into the Advanced Leadership Program. She was the main organizer  behind this year’s charity fundraiser at Beach Day. Thanks for your commitment to Eclipse, Caroline!

Assistant Coach of the Month: Kai Weyland

Although Kai is not technically an assistant coach for any teams, he has been a major assistant to just about every team this season as our goalkeeping trainer. Kai has been out at the field for hours every week this season to work with our goalkeepers from U9 to U18. In addition to teaching and developing our goalies, he makes the position fun and cool. Since bringing Kai on as our goalie trainer, we’ve seen improvements from many of our goalies.

Referee of the Month: Annie Damianakes

If you had any home games in Orinda during the month of October, it’s likely you know who Annie is! Annie did more games than anyone in October. In addition to developing her own referee skills, Annie is a positive mentor on many of our younger referees who assistant referee games she is centering.
