The fourth year of the Eclipse Leadership Academy came to a close this week. With so much demand this summer, the Academy was broken into two separate groups, so nearly 50 kids could participate. After a summer full of activities, games and discussions, the kids had a lot of fun and took away some important life skills. The course focuses on key leadership concepts, including observation, communication, what being a leader means and how to be a leader in your team, in the club and in the community. The Academy is open to players U13 and older. If your player is interested in doing the Academy the next time it is offered, email Director Shane Carney at email@example.com.
