Welcome Eclipse’s New Technical Coordinator and Goalkeeper Trainer

We’re very happy to announce the hiring of the club’s new Technical Coordinator and  new Goalkeeper Trainer!

Our new Technical Coordinator is Luis Orellana. Luis was a two-time USL National Player of the Year during his professional soccer career and is a former member of the Nicaragua national soccer team. He continues to play as a player/coach for Rosal of the Professional Arena Soccer League. He is the current Director of Soccer at Bladium in Alameda and has also served as the Soccer Director at Cabernet Indoor Sports and Hotshots Indoor Sports. Luis brings more than 20 years of coaching experience and a national level coaching diploma with him. Luis will be working with a variety of Eclipse teams across the club. He will also be working with our coaches to ensure their continued development.

Our new Goalkeeper Trainer is Brandon Ibarra. Brandon was an NSCAA All-American goalkeeper in high school, which led him to earn a scholarship to Division 1 Cal State Northridge where he played goalkeeper collegiately. Following his playing career, Brandon jumped into the coaching world where he has spent the past seven years coaching at the high school level and working as a private goalkeeper trainer. Brandon will be working with Eclipse goalkeepers throughout the club this season.
