Three Eclipse teams had the longest travel for a tournament in club history this weekend when our U15 girls, U16 boys and U19 boys teams participated in the CUFA tournament in South Lake Tahoe. Despite some challenging opponents and challenging air (yay altitude!), all three teams played tough and advanced out of group play. The U15 girls lost a close semifinal match 1-0 to the eventual tournament champions to finish in third place, while both the U16 boys and U19 boys came away with second place in their age groups. The tournament offered great competition, great opportunities for team bonding and a great location. The U15 girls also became the first Eclipse team to play in another state, as some of their games were played just across the border in Nevada.
